Q.
I would like to use a thumbnail image on some of my cues,
but I really don't need them on others. Can I do that?
A.
Yes, you CAN have thumbnail images on some cues and not on
others.Thumbnail images are very helpful
in your script cues when you need an immediate visual reminder
of how the cues will appear on the display screen. However,
there may be some cues, such a Lyric cues,
that contain multiple sub-cues where using the thumbnail view
just taks up too much space on your control screen.
The
good news is that you can disable the thumbnail images on
any single cue with four quick clicks while leaving only the
cues you want to see thumbnail images on enabled. Here’s
how to do it:
1.
First, make sure Full Script is selected
in the view drop down menu.
2.
Select the cue(s) for which you’d like to turn off thumbnails
and open the Cue Properties Box by right-clicking
and choosing Properties.
3.
Click on the Control tab of the Cue
Properties Box.
4.
Click the Hide Thumbnails checkbox. (You
can return to this selection at any time and uncheck the box
to enable the thumbnail images.)
5.
Close the Cue Properties Box and the thumbnail
images for that cue will no longer be displayed.
