MediaShout
v3 Critical Update
As with any new software release, users sometimes encounter
bugs and performance issues not caught during pre-release testing
or find system configurations that require tweaking. We address
these issues through free updates available on our website.
Note:
Free updates are available only to registered users. However,
with so many users installing v3 at once right now, we are
making it possible to download and install post-release updates
without registering. Nonetheless, we highly recommend that
you register anyway, to ensure that you receive alerts and
other critical news via email.
The
simplest way to ensure that v3 is up-to-date on your computer
is to use the Check for Updates feature in
MediaShout’s Help menu. This will automatically
connect you to our website and tell you whether you have the
latest update. (To determine this manually, choose Help>About
MediaShout. Check the top line in the dialog box
that opens: “MediaShout 3.0 build ###.”
If the build number is lower than that of the latest update
listed below, download and install the update.

Note:
This is a cumulative update (as are all v3.0 updates). It
contains all fixes issued in previous updates too.
Installation instructions:

Download the Update 454 file and save to
disc.
Make sure MediaShout is closed, then open
the file to launch the installer. Follow the instructions
that appear onscreen.
