For years Tommy Walker has had a passion for Worship Evangelism, but a 1997 trip to the Philippines gave him a new awareness of overwhelming poverty. He discovered that when we minister to the poor we bless the heart of God.

This year, Tommy Walker is launching the Break Through '06 Tour. Each tour stop will host a 2-day worship conference, where pastors and worship leaders can attend breakout sessions ranging from How to Play Well to Pastor/Worship Leader Relationships. MediaShout has partnered with Tommy Walker as a tour sponsor and will be providing the media, as well as teaching a workshop on MediaShout V3 and how to integrate media into worship gatherings.

The Break Through '06 Tour will focus on four areas during the 2 days. Below is a description from Tommy on each of these four areas:

WORSHIP
We believe God will ignite a fire in individuals and churches to passionately express worship like never before through our worship concerts and seminars.

UNITY
We're bringing churches together through worship and evangelism. There will be many ways you can be involved such as singing in a multi-church choir.

POVERTY
We're partnering with relief organizations to break through the hopelessness of poverty in the Philippines . We will be taking an offering at each event that will go to support children living in the slums in Manila .

SALVATION
We're praying that God will break through with His power to save many lives at these events.
