Purpose Driven Youth Ministries, a ministry of Saddleback Church in California, decided to do the same for a youth minister that was in need in Waco, Texas. The selection of Mighty Wind Worship Center's youth ministry R-Tillery from a nationwide cross-section of congregations was based on need, the ministry's impact on its community, and the amazing life-transformation story of Gabriel Dominguez, who has served on the church's youth staff for six years, including the past six months as head youth pastor.
On Wednesday, Feb. 2, a team of workers from the Purpose Driven Movement, Baylor University and local residents arrived to begin a five-day marathon overhaul on R-tillery's youth room. The team was led by Tim Loza, a general contractor from Saddleback Church. Loza puts the extreme in extreme makeover.
