If you are considering updating your computer to the new Windows Vista operating system or purchasing a new computer with Vista installed, please be aware that MediaShout is NOT currently supported for Vista OR for the newer 64-bit Windows XP operating system.
We know that many people are eager to make these upgrades, and our development team is working as fast as they can to implement the required new components for MediaShout to work correctly in both of these powerful new systems. We have to be certain that you can continue to enjoy all of the features of MediaShout before we release this support.
Once we have the new components fully integrated and tested, there will be an announcement via email and on our website as to how you can download the new update. There may even be a few new surprise features to check out. Be aware that this update will likely be in excess of 100 MB. You should plan to download it on a reliable broadband internet connection. You should also be aware that based on industry and consumer reports, Vista requires substantially more memory and processor capacity to operate correctly. This requirement plus the needs of MediaShout may require upgrading components of your computer to achieve the desired performance.
New system requirements for Vista machines will be posted on mediashout.com as soon as they are verified with the current testing. Check the front page alert section to keep up with these developments.
