Multiple Displays

Song Lyrics
Add lyrics from CCLI's SongSelect, PowerPoint files, a host of third-party sources, or type in your own using our New Song Wizard. Once they're in, easily play them to the screen with graphic or motion backgrounds.
50+ Bible Versions
Find and display Bible passages from over 50 included translations, searchable by chapter and verse, or keywords.
Media Playback
Play graphics, audio, video and DVDs by themselves or as backgrounds and soundtracks in your presentation. Version 4.5 now includes full QuickTime support.
PowerPoint™ Support
Play PowerPoint™ slideshows directly from MediaShout (requires a full installation of PowerPoint™ software), or import your slides into MediaShout-editable formats using our PowerPoint™ Import Wizard.
Quicktime (NEW!)
Play QuickTime files without additional codec tweaking. MediaShout now includes a full installation of QuickTime 7, giving you unprecedented access to the most popular video format.
Countdown Clock (NEW!)
Play keyed countdown clocks to your audience and/or stage team. Perfect for letting your audience know how much time is left until your event starts, or giving your on-stage teams a reminder of how much time they have left.
Simple Workspace
A three-pane workspace for streamlined workflow. This workspace is comprised of Decks, the Script and Viewers, with additional built-in playback controls and panic buttons. While the layout may be customized to suit your preferences, the default workflow moves from left to right as you Build, Edit and Present.
Drag-and-Drop Formatting
Formatting text for visually stunning church presentations just got easier. Drag margins to place text exactly where you need it without any guesswork. Change font styles and layout for an entire cue or highlight text for detailed editing.
Stage Display
An additional display of song lyrics, Bible verses or text for on-stage personnel. Automatically utilize foreground text or your own custom content and display full screen over black background for maximum clarity. NOTE: Stage Display requires a third video output.
Background Mode
The VJ-ready feature allowing you to switch backgrounds on the fly behind programmed text. While playing a church presentation, simply turn on Background Mode to play media straight from the Decks behind your text. To go back to your pre-programmed media, switch back to Normal Mode.
PowerPoint™ Import
Guides you through the process of converting a PowerPoint file into a lyric, text or graphic cue, with the added option of saving the existing backgrounds as separate graphic files. This tool requires a full installation of PowerPoint on your computer, and may be found under the File > Import menu of the main toolbar.
Licensing
How many installations come standard with MediaShout Version 4.5?
MediaShout Version 4.5 includes a license for 3 installations. These installations can be used for presentation or editing. Installation requires Internet activation.
What about additional licensing?
MediaShout has two levels of additional licensing available: (1) sets of two additional licenses, and (2) a site license. Please contact our Sales Team to purchase additional licensing.
Does this affect my current MediaShout for Mac licensing?
No. MediaShout Version 4.5 is a completely separate product and has no direct impact on current MediaShout for Mac licenses. If you currently own MediaShout Version 4 and MediaShout for Mac, your license covers 3 Windows installations and 3 Mac installations. Unused licenses cannot be applied to another product.
Compatibility
Can I open a MediaShout for Windows presentation in MediaShout for Mac?
Not currently. To give our Windows and Mac products the greatest flexibility and most features, the presentation files are not cross-compatible.
What about my library of 5,846 song lyrics?
You can import/export the MediaShout Song Library Text file. We understand that one of the most time-consuming parts of ministry presentation is building your song library. In addition to the built-in SongSelect import, you can also import or export your song library to share between computers, regardless of operating system.
